Exchange with the Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Representation in Türkiye

On 15 January, Ambassador Daniel Da Cruz had a productive exchange with Philippe Bernard‑Treille, Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Representation in Türkiye, on EU–Türkiye economic and financial cooperation.

Mr. Da Cruz and Mr. Bernard‑Treille discussed the EIB’s potential role in advancing sustainable investment, climate projects, and cross‑regional connectivity in the context of a gradual EU–Türkiye re‑engagement.

As host country of the EIB, Luxembourg remains strongly committed to supporting high‑value projects aligned with EU priorities, notably the green transition and sustainable growth.
