On 9 September 2025, Ambassador Daniel Da Cruz presented his Letters of Credence to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, formally assuming his duties as Ambassador of Luxembourg to Türkiye. The ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Ankara, followed by the traditional wreath-laying at the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founding father and first President of the Republic of Türkiye mark the official start of his mission.
