On 7 September, Ambassador Daniel Da Cruz met with M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). During the meeting, they exchanged views on Luxembourg-Türkiye trade relations and discussed about potential opportunities for cooperation.

On 9 September, Ambassador Da Cruz participated in Benelux Day 2026 celebrations at the garden of Palais de Hollande in Istanbul. The event co-hosted by the @blcct1926 and the @NLinIstanbul brought together partners from Benelux countries with the Turkish business community.
