The Embassy of Luxembourg in #Türkiye expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the devastating fire in #Kartalkaya and wishes a prompt recovery to the injured.
On 12 October, a diplomatic tennis tournament was organized by the Directorate of European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Luxembourg Embassy in Ankara in cooperation with the Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF). The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye and Director of the European Affairs, Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, Luxembourg’s Ambassador to Ankara Georges Faber, TTF President Cengiz Durmuş and more than 40 players from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic community in Ankara participated in this friendly tournament. The tournament was opened with a friendly match between Ambassador Bozay, Ambassador Faber and national Turkish Paralympic athletes Ahmet Kaplan and Uğur Altınel. An award ceremony and joint closing reception was hosted in the evening at the Luxembourg Residence by Deputy Minister Bozay and Ambassador Faber.
