Right after the earthquake #Luxembourg not only provided financial and logistical support but also deployed the satellite platform @emergencylu in the affected areas to help restore communication services.
Ambassador Da Cruz visited the Mayor of #Ankara Mr. Mansur Yavaş. Mr. Da Cruz and Mr. Yavaş not only exchanged about the diplomatic and economic relations between #Luxembourg and #Türkiye but they also touched upon the importance of the contacts on a local level.
On 15 January, Ambassador Daniel Da Cruz had a productive exchange with Philippe Bernard‑Treille, Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Representation in Türkiye, on #EU–#Türkiye economic and financial cooperation. Mr. Da Cruz and Mr. Bernard‑Treille discussed the EIB’s potential role in advancing sustainable investment, climate projects, and cross‑regional connectivity in the context of a gradual EU–Türkiye re‑engagement. As host country of the EIB, #Luxembourg remains strongly committed to supporting high‑value projects aligned with EU priorities, notably the green transition and sustainable growth.
