Published Monday April 07 2014

The exhibition themed “Luxembourg, my beloved country”, organised by the Embassy of Luxembourg in Ankara, in cooperation with Turkish Airlines and TAV Airports, was inaugurated on 28 March, at the international terminal of Atatürk Airport in Istanbul. The initiative was undertaken on the occasion of the launch of daily flights between Luxembourg and Istanbul by Turkish Airlines, as from the 30th of March.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Luxembourg to Turkey, Mrs Arlette Conzemius, the General Manager of TAV Airports, Mr Kemal Ünlü, the Vice-President Marketing & Sales of Turkish Airlines, Mr Fatih Çığal and many other representatives from the authorities involved in the organisation and the business community.

The exhibition will be displaying, until the 18th of April, the works of Jacques Schneider, a young photographer-artificer of Luxembourg origins. This will allow numerous Turkish and international passengers to enjoy the innovative work of Mr Schneider, reflecting various faces of Luxembourg, including both its historical and contemporary aspects, as well as its natural beauties.
